🍂 Giving Thanks for the Season I’m In
This Thanksgiving, I’ve been reflecting on how grateful I am for the life I’ve built, even though it isn’t perfect or anything near what I imagined for myself. It’s amazing how much life can change in a short period of time, and I’m thankful for every step, every shift, every challenge, and every blessing that brought me here.
✨ The Gift of Motherhood & Family
Thanksgiving holds a special place in my heart because it reminds me of the moment I found out I had a successful egg retrieval in November 2017. That was the beginning of success in my motherhood journey. It was a moment full of uncertainty, hope, and faith — one that changed my life forever.
Nothing in my life compares to the joy of being a mother. My boys are my greatest blessing, my biggest motivators, and the anchor that grounds everything I do. Every laugh, every hug, every small moment throughout the day reminds me that motherhood is the most sacred part of my story.
And this season, I’m grateful for the possibility ahead, like finally being in a place where I’m dreaming about taking my boys on our first solo vacation. It’s something we haven’t been positioned to do before, but I feel that chapter coming, and it fills me with hope.
I’m especially grateful for my parents, the strongest backbone I could ever ask for. Their love and support have carried me through every season, especially the ones that tested my strength.
✨ My Journey Into Real Estate
I’m deeply grateful for the ability to pursue a career in real estate, which lets me help families navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives. Real estate found me at the exact moment I needed purpose, direction, and something that challenged me to grow.
Now, real estate is stretching me in a bigger way. It’s forcing me to speak up, show up, follow up, and it gives me the charge to focus on building real relationships. It’s helping me become a better communicator and gives me space to be a better friend. And I’m thankful for that growth.
✨ Purpose, Alignment, and Finding My Voice Again
This year gave me a stronger sense of purpose. It taught me how to manage my time, even when it feels like there aren’t enough hours in the day. Between motherhood, real estate, building a brand, maintaining a home, and trying to show up for the people I care about, I still find myself grateful.
Grateful that I can juggle all these roles.
Grateful that I’m being stretched and strengthened.
Grateful that I’m rediscovering parts of myself I thought were gone.
I’ve always loved writing, and this season, I’m finding my voice again. Life pulled me away from it, but now the words are coming back, and tools like ChatGPT are helping me organize my thoughts so I can tell my story clearly and confidently again. I’m thankful for anything that helps me reconnect to who I am at my core.
✨ Honoring My Education
Another thing I hold with pride is my Master’s degree in public relations and corporate communications. My skills are perfectly aligned with real estate — branding, storytelling, relationship-building, strategy, communication.
Everything I’ve learned is preparing me to be an excellent Realtor, and I’m grateful for the alignment I feel professionally and personally.
✨ Gratitude in the Trenches
This year wasn’t perfect. I had days when I felt overwhelmed, stretched thin, and pulled in a dozen directions.
But I’m still here.
Still growing.
Still showing up.
Still becoming.
I’m grateful for the trenches, because they’re shaping me.
And I’m grateful for the woman I’m becoming — one who leads with purpose, love, strength, and intention.
